Our dog daycare program is for the spoiled...no sitting in a crate all day here! Our dogs play with friends, chew on toys, run in circles, take naps & eat treats. Not a bad day, huh?
Oh I forgot, also lots of hugs, snuggles, kisses and butt scratches. What a life!
We encourage tail wagging, playful barking, nose boops, and wet kisses.

The purpose of dog daycare is to provide your pup with an opportunity to socialize and exercise. Many contrary pup behaviors are due to boredom, anxiety and loneliness. Dogs crave the pack!
If you want to avoid any potential chewing, excessive barking or your own guilt about leaving your pup all alone, give them dog daycare and rest assured that they will come home happy & tired!

The Barker House provides an integrated approach to the pups we love - daycare, hotel stays & grooming. We pride ourselves on knowing each of our pups individually & intimately - their preferences, their quirks and their needs.
- We are super picky about fostering a family environment...keeping our pup to staff ratio low allows us to cater to the needs of each individual Barker in our pack
- We accept dogs based on their behavior NOT their breed
- Our dogs spend the majority of their day choosing what they want to do, who they want to do it with and where they want to do it
- Puppies are taught basic commands and encouraged to learn from our "model" Barkers
- We offer three different play areas for different temperaments to enjoy play time - your pup has the freedom to choose their friends!
- We provide the pups with appropriate toys & games that stimulate their brain
- Our staff attendants recognize dog body language to ensure that all pups are playing in a safe manner. Crazy puppies, wise elderly & nervous pups all have a reassuring environment
- We recognize that there can be too much of a good thing, so pups are carefully monitored for needed naps, when they can relax with soothing music

Here are the basic requirements when considering daycare:
- Your dog is comfortable & friendly around other dogs
- Your dog does not have any past aggressive growling or biting incidents with dogs or people
- Your dog is happy resting when tired
- Your dog enjoys lots of attention, hugs & kisses during the day

Absolutely!
- Dogs are supervised at all times, by Animal CPR certified attendants
- Potential daycare dogs must complete a 2-hr play assessment prior to enrolling
- Play areas, crate areas, toys & water bowls are sterilized throughout the day
- All dogs are required to be up to date with Rabies, kennel cough, DHPP, as well as negative fecal test
