It's hard to talk about yourself, so here is what others have said about Paul:
If Amber could adopt every dog in need, in the world, she would. Here is what others have said about Amber:
Ziggy lived in a shelter for over 3 years, being returned twice for not being suited for kids or the elderly...he's a Chihuahua! We met him while volunteering & right away he rubbed up against Paul instead of biting, his usual response. The staff was amazed that we wanted to take him home & even more amazed every time they get an update showing how sweet & happy & spoiled he is, 4 years later!
*named for Ziggy Stardust
Paul likes to say that Porter was named after his favorite beer & steak, hah! He was a Father's Day surprise for Paul! He came home at 8 weeks as a little fur ball, and won everyone's hearts immediately. Porter is 3 years old and is literally the sweetest, most kind hearted, laid back 100 pounds of floof you will ever meet. Also the ring bearer in our wedding! We are so lucky to have him in our lives!
*named after Paul's favorite steak & beer
Rigby is the only girl in the house, other than Mom, and at 21 months old, totally spoiled! We were so lucky to get her from the shelter at 10 weeks old, the last of a litter of 9 from Georgia. Smart as a whip, total daddy's girl, loves rides in the truck, can play fetch in the yard for hours on end, & is an expert frisbee catcher. Also a bed hog.
*named for Eleanor Rigby, The Beatles
Cooper is the baby of the family at 12 months old. Should've known better than to enter another establishment with puppies in need, but our daughter, Samantha insisted and of course Amber fell in love with Cooper as soon as their eyes met. Paul, being the amazing husband and father that he is, threw his hands up and said "I have no control", so Cooper came home! He is a ball of energy, has the most amazing ears (aka satellite dishes), is the best snuggler and Rigby's best friend.
*named Cooper because he was an impulse adoption & that's the first name that the three of us could agree on quickly
